In a remote barangay of Ternate, Cavite, which is about two hours drive from Manila, GMA Network’s new adventure TV series, Fantastikids, shoots on location, unknown to many of the town residents.

The location is a typical coastal community where fishing is the main source of livelihood. There are modern resorts but homes made of nipa is still a regular sight.

The historical island of Corregidor can be seen on the shoreline of Algo Beach Resort and from a distance they look like they’re lazily making their way into and out of Manila Bay.

ONE PHILIPPINES was fortunate to have been invited to the place and to watch the whole day shoot of the TV series. Stars like Melanie Marquez, Marky Cielo, Jackie Rice, BJ Forbes or “Tolits”, Paolo Contis and and the rest of the cast graciously accommodated our presence.
