in one big night! The first time they’ve ever
been seen together on one stage. The Pinoy
Big Brother first season has come to an
end and what better way to celebrate it than having
a PBB Big Reunion. Not only was
it an evening of reminiscing but also a revelation
of secrets and unknown facts from the first PBB
to the Celebrity Edition to the recently concluded
Teen Edition.
Pinoy
Big Brother Season 1 had many firsts among
the Big Brother franchises around the world. It was
only here where all kinds of exits happened in one
season – automatic nomination and eviction,
voluntary exit, health reason exit and the exits during
the regular eviction nights. The Philippines is also
the first in Asia with a Teen Edition which granted
100 seconds with a loved one. PBB also was also first
in having a multi-faith altar, the highest number
of text votes and the most charities helped. It also
launched the most number of career in the history
of the franchise.
Highlights
like moving and funny moments inside the house were
also shown during the event. Topping the 10 Magpakatotoo
Moments is Rustom’s admission that he’s
gay. Also remembered were the heart-mates formed inside
the house. season; Rico-Roxie, Zanjoe-Bianca plus
the odd combination of Keanna-Budoy, The Crying Award
went to Say, Roxie and Aldred and the Pasaways were
Franzen and Bam.
Rewarding
moments also topped the list of happy memories inside
the house. Rico Robles couldn’t forget his pa-kalbo
moment. John Prats too couldn’t forget the pain
he endured from his body wax challenge. On the other
hand, the teens liked helping the environment by planting
trees in the La Mesa Ecopark.
The
question and answer portion was filled with kilig
and laughter as showbiz writers along with The Buzz
host Cristy Fermin grilled the housemates with the
most pressing issues they encountered inside and outside
the PBB House. JB and Say who broke up shortly after
their stay in the House said they are over each other
and have moved on. Mang Rudy, the eldest of the HMs
said that he was glad to be able to give inspiration
to other disabled people like himself. Gerald the
Ambisoy from Gen. Santos stammered when he was asked
if he will court Big Winner Kim now that they are
out of the House. He said it would all depend on the
Chinese Cutie. Kim also said they are good friends
now. Nene and Bob didn’t escape the reporter’s
probing about their relationship. Controversial HM
Rustom was asked if Keanna’s assets intimidated
him when they shared a bathroom. He jokingly said
that he always double-checked if Keanna was “covered”
before entering the bathroom. All in all everyone
was thankful for the once in a lifetime experience
sa loob ng bahay ni Kuya.
