At long last, One Philippines inaugurates an edition in the Lone Star State, in the very city where the most number of Filipinos now reside, right smack in the only superpower country left in the world. Bhong Zausa,publisher of One Philippines Texas Edition, proudly officiated the launching process, attended by prominent members of the Filipino community in state. The ribbon-cutting ceremony itself was performed by Ms Ligaya Benitez Vigilia, a former Houston beauty titlist and now a prominent businessperson. Since studies reveal that most people buy marketing ideas based on their emotions and feelings of trust, it follows that One Philippines, surely the most culture-specific entertainment and amusement magazine to grace the newsstands of the Filipino-Texan community, will meet the needs of the population and generate more revenues for its advertisers. This was evident on the day of the launch itself, which also witnessed the graceful presence of legendary kundiman songstress Lirio Vital, as well as prominent pillars of the Fil-Tex community---to name a few: Nel Isagan, Robert Pucio, Anthony Guevarra, Pablo Soriano, Marivic Gabiola, Rizza Isagan, and Joana Vigilia.
