The sequel to last year’s Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo

Angie
(Judy Ann Santos) and Jed (Ryan Agoncillo) are first-time
parents who experience the joys and pains of raising
a child. They realize that parenthood is extremely
demanding, and they learn to sacrifice their own interests
for their baby. When Jed has to go abroad for a business
convention, Angie decides to go along. They leave
their child in the care of friends but the couple’s
mothers (Gloria Diaz and Gina Pareño) come
in and take turns looking after the child –
which leads to a total disaster.
Upon their return, Jed and Angie are confronted with
their mothers’ personal issues. They realize
that only after they have done their role as children
can they understand the true meaning of being a parent.
Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo is Star Cinema’s official
entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival 2007. Written
and directed by Jose Javier Reyes, this film opens
in Philippine theaters on December 25. |
