TALL
(6’3”), dark and well, you know the rest,
Emmanuel Mago bested 17 other aspirants for the right
to represent the Philippines in the upcoming Mr.
World pageant to be held in Sanya, China this month.
Mago, a B.S. Management student of Emilio Aguinaldo
College, faces 80 other contestants from all over
the world. Unlike other all-physique competitions,
Mr. World hews closely to the traditions of women’s
beauty contests. In addition to testing the men
on their physical appearance, contestants will
also
be judged on talent, strength of character, stamina
and determination to succeed. They will be made
to undergo physical tests including press-ups and
sit-ups
but will also face fun tasks like a cocktail shaking
challenge and a Chinese cooking challenge. |
