International Head Joseph T. Francia announced recently
that the GMA Pinoy TV program Review Philippines was
nominated in the 13th Annual NAMIC Vision Awards.
The presentation and awarding ceremonies is scheduled
on March 27 at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills,
California, U.S.A .
NAMIC (National Association for Multi-ethnicity in
Communications) is the premiere organization focusing
on multi-ethnic diversity in the U.S. communications
industry. It is the only American entertainment organization
honoring communication industry giants for their outstanding
achievements in original and multi-ethnic cable programming.
Last year, GMA Pinoy TV was awarded by NAMIC as the
Best Asian Channel Launch and the Best Website in
the Excellence in Multi-ethnic Marketing Awards (EMMA)
held in New York.
This year GMA International’s lone entry for
the 13th Annual NAMIC Vision Awards, Review Philippines,
was nominated under the News and Information category
alongside entries from CNN, CNN International, NBC
Universal, and Turner Classic Movies.
GMA Pinoy TV is the international television channel
